Our course is designed for everyone, no prior knowledge is required. We work through the houses of the zodiac as topics for reflection. Each topic also includes prompts and assignments for artists, writers, and budding astrologers. A resources section for each topic includes links to online museum exhibits and artworks relevant to the topic. The course is structured in a way that makes it easy for beginners to understand and engage.

It’s up to you. You can skip sections if you want, or re-do them. 
Each course covers three “houses” of the astrology chart. I would plan on spending at least 2 hours for each module, but give yourself much more time than that to play with the creative prompts. 

There are 12 “houses” in an astrology chart. The courses are divided into quadrants – each containing three houses.

For each house, you receive:

• information about the themes of the house
• examples of the theme as subject matter in art and/or writing
• Curated links to resources from art museums around the world
• Activities to further your reflection, engagement, and creative practice including:
  • Art prompts
  • Creative writing prompts
  • Journaling prompts

Courses are broken into three “houses” at a time, and can be taken sequentially or simultaneously, depending on your schedule.

No, this course assumes no prior knowledge of astrology.

Trick question! We are all artists. We might not have developed our skill to a level we aspire to be, but we are all artists. You are welcome to join us no matter your level!

Yes, live meetings are an option. They are tentatively scheduled for the third Sunday of the month at 2 p.m. EST.

So much of astrology is reflecting on themes and making connections between various pieces of information. This course gives you some new ways to consider themes you are familiar with.

No, for this course you do not need your birth data. In Level 1, we are going over some very basic, simplified themes of the houses and connecting to a few different artists that connect with those themes. For any of the bonus content, you do need accurate birth data, preferably directly off your birth certificate. Memory (even by parents) is often not correct.

Yes, levels will be added to spiral the content and deepen understandings. Level 1 takes a very simplified basic approach. Level 2 adds in signs, Level 3 starts to look at individual charts.
